The Committee and the Office, while expressing their gratitude to all those who seek to assist the Syrian people through diplomatic channels, point out that the diplomatic path—whether Arab or international—is complex, prolonged, and treacherous, and that proceeding along it ultimately serves the interests of the regime.
The Committee and the Office call upon the peoples and governments of the Arab world and the international community to establish a "Fund to Support the Syrian People" to provide all necessary assistance in confronting the genocide, repression, starvation, and subjugation imposed by the criminal regime. Those who fail to act on this are responsible before God and history.
The initiatives have dried up, and the decisions have been shelved," and "the shameful truths and flaws have been exposed." There is no alternative now but to overthrow the regime in its entirety and bring it to trial, "as a just and fitting punishment.
